At Madeley Academy, we are committed to ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve their personal best and to develop their individual talents in all areas. As a school that is proudly “Focused on Success”, we strive to create a strong sense of belonging and high achievement for all our students’.
We are incredibly proud of our students and delighted to share our 2025 examination outcomes, which reflect their dedication and the exceptional efforts. In 2025, 64% of GCSE students achieved Grade 4 and above in English and Maths, with 36% securing Grade 5 and above. These outcomes reflect the hard-working ethos that runs throughout our Academy.
Our Sixth Form also continues to excel. In 2025, students achieved an average A Level (Excluding AS levels) grade of B+, alongside strong value-added performance, and excellent vocational results, including a Distinction+ average in vocational courses. These accomplishments place Madeley Academy among the strongest post-16 providers in the region.

PD DAY The students will not be in school on Friday 26th June, as it is a scheduled professional development day during which the school will be closed to all students.Normal school day will resume on Monday 29th June.We appreciate your understanding.HOT WEATHERAs the temperatures are set to continue to rise next week, our uniform rules will be as follows:Blazers or jumpers can be left off and at home but it is full school uniform otherwise.Students may take off ties and undo their shirt top button. No PE kits please; thin cotton shirts are much cooler than our black PE kit. Bring a water bottle to keep hydrated; the water machines will be on at all times.
